Industry Leader in Grid Modernization Joins Excergy


Denver, CO; November 5, 2018 — Excergy announced today that Ashok Sundaram has joined our team as an Executive Consultant with Excergy’s Grid Modernization practice. His key focus is Distribution Systems of electric utilities, with specialization in grid modernization technology applications. He has 25 years of project/program experience with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and Accenture’s Smart Grid practice working with utility clients domestic and overseas to formulate cutting edge research and demonstration projects to serve their needs.

Ashok brings expertise across functional areas of vital importance to utilities today as they seek to leverage new technologies for full operational advantage. His specialty areas cover all aspects of Grid Modernization including Smart Grids, Transmission and Distribution, Power Quality, Power Electronics, Renewables, Distribution Automation, Energy Storage, and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS).
